I'll take a good pale ale ahead of a lager any day and this is a good pale ale. It pours a deep copper red colour. There's nothing weak about this beer. It has a solid malt backbone which you'll notice right away. But it's well balanced with a strong hop flavour and some bitterness in the finish. This is some fine ale. This is a new brewery, opened in 2002, and if this beer is any indication they are well on the right track. Hopefully they stick around.
