This was better than Thames, in that it didn't have the potpourri of funky flavors which ruined the whole taste. It was a simple, hoppy, ale, almost like an IPA. A little flat, but that can be attributed to crossing the pond. It was also slightly stale, like it's been on the shelf for a while...again, a problem with imports, not a reflection of the quality of beer. Even the way it was, I rate it higher than many domestics, because at least it had character. Recommended by my Welsh friend Gareth Heatly. Shw Mae!
