For a lager, this was fairly hoppy, and had a slight fruity flavor, both something that's much more prevalent in ales. However, it was a nice balance, not too strong at all. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed it as much on a hot summer day as I did on this late November evening, but when it comes back out I'll have to try it.

Another solid effort from Sierra Nevada. I don't know why they only put this out for the summer; it's a good lager that can be enjoyed year-round. Maybe because it's the only lager they make. Its not quite as clean as most pilsners to me, but a good beer just the same.
