CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- No more Cracker Barrel restaurants ever for one Georgia man. The company has banned the man accused of beating a mother at one of its restaurants from all of its locations for life.


What's in the water down there? First that Walmart thing, now this.

The beating is leading some state lawmakers to consider pushing for a Georgia Hate Crime Law.


Yet another unneeded law. Just enforce the ones you have and use them properly and you don't need to add another. Is it really worse to beat a person because of their skin color etc than it is to beat someone of the same color for no reason at all? This dude must have been nuts right from the off. Proper sentencing might go like this: "Give that little girl a Louisville Slugger and tell her to make like Babe Ruth."

 

The FBI is investigating if it will file federal hate crime charges in the case.

 

What's to investigate?  He came, he beat, he swore, he posted bail.  Next case.   Maybe I'm just getting more cynical as I get older.

 They forgot to mention if he was wearing a wife beater and had a case of Milwaukee's Best in the truck.
