Steve: As strong as this was (9.6% abv), I was expecting something a little darker in color, but it was about the color of most Oktoberfest beers....just quite a bit stronger. It had a woody flavor to it, and you could definitely, without a doubt, taste the alcohol. I guess this is the minor leagues before you try Urbock 23's stronger cousin, Samichlaus. (8/19/2006)
