Steve: This lager is the first Italian beer I ever tried, and I have to say that I was not optomistic. Which means when I found out how good it was, I was surprised as hell, and I really enjoyed it. I had it at a nice Mediterranean restaurant, and it really hit the spot with my Paella. It's really just a basic lager (albeit a well made one, something Bud hasn't quite accomplished), but for some reason its latin roots helps Italian or Spanish food taste better.
