Sam: Pretty hard to put a finger on this one. It pours practically jet black, but with ruby highlights held to the light, like a stout. My other impression is schwarzbier, but the aroma is sweet, not smoky. The flavor is a confusion of molasses, plums, coffee, toffee, and malts. I don't mean to come off sounding like some smarmy beersnob type, but this beer's a little hard to explain. At the very least, it's interesting to try. If you see it, give it a spin, then come tell us what you think on the forums. (9/9/2006)

Kris: This was my first beer from the Philippines, and I have to say I'm impressed. I really shouldn't be, as a light lager shouldn't be that hard to screw up, and yet so many brewers consistently brew crap. A refreshing, clean, light beer with a little bite to it. If you can find it, definitely give it a try.
