Tim: I should've gotten the hint when my friend did about everything he could to keep me from drinking this beer while I was visiting him in Taiwan. But on the flight home I was offered this beer and I couldn't say no. In fact I was kind of curious. Well I soon learned why this beer is best to be avoided. It tasted watery but it also tasted like funky old rice. Perhaps that's what was floating in it. And it was kind of hard to choke down, despite being watery. I'm lucky it didn't make me sick. Tim: If this was different from Taiwan Beer it's because it had a funk cabbage taste and the rice funk wasn't as strong. It sounds like it'd be worse than the TB, but it tasted a little better. It was still bad. On an unrelated note I can tell you that there's a team called "Taiwan Beer" in Taiwan's "Super Basketball League" and they by far have the skankiest cheerleaders. (9/30/2006)
